All community members interested in serving on a Journey to Damascus team need to complete this form. Applications will be accepted in the order that the Registrar receives the completed application and a form of payment.

Scholarships:

For assistance with a portion or the entire fee, please include your request with the application. Partial or full scholarships are available.

Team Participation Expectations:

Team members will be required to be available at the retreat center for the entire weekend. Team members will also be required to attend at least two monthly team meetings leading up to the Journey weekend to receive important instructions and details. In addition, team meetings are used to build fellowship among team members and provide feedback for speakers practicing their talks.

* Guidelines for ALD stipulate that the team member should be willing to serve as LD eventually and have experience serving as ATL or TL, CHA/Angel, and be active in a reunion group.

** Guidelines for LD stipulate that the team member must have served in 3 different team positions including the following;

- ATL/TL (One or the other will suffice)
- Angel/CHA
- ALD and LDIT (Lay Director In Training)
Prospective LD's shall have given 2 different talks, not including 4th day or Love & Unity
- Agree to sign the Weekend Leadership Agreements
- Agree to attend a Lay Director Training

(Exceptions to the above may be made at the discretion of the Board of Directors)

Refund Policy (Team)







mso-hansi-font-family:Calibri;mso-bidi-font-family:Calibri;color:#0070C0">To be eligible for a refund, applicants must send a notice of cancellation to the Lay Director or Board Representative via email by Sunday 5PM CT preceding the confirmed JTD weekend. The refund would be in the amount of the registration fee and will be issued in the form of a check by mail within 14 days following the JTD weekend. Refunds cannot be automatically applied to future journeys. An exception to this policy would be a death or medical emergency in the immediate family of the applicant that causes him/her to not be able to attend the JTD weekend. Any other exception to this policy requires the explicit approval of the JTD Board President.
